Learning Opportunities:
The Trainee will learn about Kraft International Commercial and US GAAP
Accounting.  They will focus on consolidation accounting, financial
statement analysis and reporting.  They will gain international experience
and learn corporate culture in the US.
   

Job Description:
    *    Assist in all aspects of the monthly accounting
          consolidation process
    *    Perform various P&L and B/S account analysis to verify the
          accuracy of the financial accounting data, and provide reasons behind
          significant fluctuations from one period to the next.
    *    Perform intercompany account balance reconciliation's and
          investigations for outstanding variances; follow up with the countries and
          related departments within KIC
    *    Prepare monthly reports for our parent company (peg strip-
          for both P&L and BS)
    *    Assist in the development of innovative ways to communicate
          needs of Headquarters Corporate Accounting it to the Country operating units
    *    Maintain contact lists of all levels of employees at all KIC
          locations
    *    Resolve issues/questions regarding US GAAP with our overseas
          reporting locations
    *    Maintenance and update of web site, assistance and help in
          development program fir the Kraft website and share points introduction
    *    eRoom maintenance (till complete migration to My Team)
          Background Requirement:
    *    Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
    *    English fluency, both written and oral
    *    Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications
    *    At least one previous professional assignment
    *    Some prior experience in consolidations/financial reporting
          preferred
