Location:   Coral Gables / Florida

Salary:       2800USD / month  

Duration:     18 months

Job Description: 

The trainee will learn about Kraft business in general, interact with other departments within the organization and expand his/her vision about this multinational company.  Additionally, he/she will develop a variety of skills and personal qualities that are essential for success in a business environment.

Some of the responsibilities the Trainee will have are:

 

The trainee will work in the Operations Finance Controlling department, specifically for Capital Investing and Productivity projects. The position offers a wide range of develop possibilities according to the trainee capabilities and commitment:

 

·         Consolidate and report productivity and Capex (Capital Expenditures) projects received from the different business units in Latin America.

·         Track productivity projects on a monthly basis and develop executive reports and financial analysis, providing explanation about main projects (Drivers).

·         Support management level with reports, presentations, and analysis during the budget cycles.

·         Develop financial models to evaluate financial data.  Control aspects of budget/revised forecast process including variance analysis.

·         Report Capex and Productivity KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) to senior management in monthly basis.

·         Control and track financial data for Appropriation Requests Projects.

·         Assist the department using PTS (Project Tracking System) for Capex and Productivity projects.  Consolidate PTS information submitted by each business unit and report it to Kraft Foods International (KFI).

 

Background Required:

 

  • Bachelor Degree  
  • Major : BA in Finance, Accounting or Engineering 
  • Languages : Fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese  
  • Academic / Work Experience: Previous experience in capital investment, accounting, or finance is desirable 
  • Strong software applications skills:  Strong software application skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc). PTS, Hyperion or SWIFT experience would be a plus. Advance Excel level is highly required
  • Personal Skills :  Pro-active, strong analytical skills, ability to work in teams, strong commitment, detail oriented, initiative, able to work in teams, culturally sensitive
  • Geographical Requirements:   Latin American Countries
