Learning Opportunities:

Besides learning about the American work culture, the trainee will also be exposed to other cultures through the interaction with other Kraft’s trainees. With10-20 international trainees located in the HQ office, the trainee will be able to participate in various social/cultural activities organized by AIESEC and Kraft’s trainee population, and gain exposure to inter-cultural communications, diversity management, etc.

  • Gain understanding of financial reporting priorities and issues
  • Become familiar with financial statements (management and external) of US company
  • Develop skills to analyze financial data and identify issues

 

Job Description:

 

a. Assist in all aspects of the Kraft Int'l monthly accounting consolidation process

b. Work with Hyperion consolidation system, including maintaining exchange rates in database

c. Reconcile intercompany transactions - payables and income transfers - and resolve out-of-balances

d. Prepare intercompany month-end reporting for affiliates

e. Manage monthly reporting submissions from countries in e-room

f. Assist in reporting Kraft Int'l monthly results to Kraft Foods

g. Coordinate and assist countries with government reporting

h. Assist in transition to Sharepoint from e-room

i. Maintain contact lists of country financial contacts

 

Background Requirement:

·    Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

·    English fluency, both written and oral

·    Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications; GL or financial reporting system experience

·    At least one previous professional assignment (2-3 years experience)

·    Some prior experience in consolidations/financial reporting preferred

 

Geographical Regions: Asia, Central Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa, and Latin America
